General agenda of the day:
Marc Vael – “It is too late: we are hacked! What do we do now?” Speaker for the Privacy & Security track
Marc is +30 years active in IT of which +20 years as security leader. Marc also shares his security knowledge with others in keynotes, articles, books, workshops and panels. Marc is past president of ISACA Belgium and past board member of ISACA International. Marc manages an online CISO community.
Kai Zenner – Keynote Speaker on Digital Trust
Kai Zenner is Head of Office and Digital Policy Adviser for MEP Axel Voss (European People’s Party Group) in the European Parliament. Describing himself as a digital enthusiast, he focuses on AI, privacy and the EU’s digital transition. Currently, he is involved in the political negotiations on the AI Act, AI liability directive, eprivacy Regulation and GDPR revision. In his individual capacity, he is pushing for reforms within the European Parliament and for bringing back the Better Regulation agenda to EU policymaking.
Caro Robson – Keynote Speaker
Caro Robson is an AI ethicist, strategist and speaker. An expert in digital regulation, Caro has over 15 years’ experience in the field, including as Executive Director of Strategy for the information regulator of a UK crown dependency, leader of the digital practice for a prominent public policy consultancy in Brussels, and advisor to UK and Afghan governments, international organisations and the international military in Afghanistan during the conflict.
Punit Bhatia – Keynote Speaker
He is one of the leading privacy experts who has worked with professionals in over 30 countries. Punit works with CXOs and DPOs to identify and manage privacy risks, and create and implement privacy strategies in a world that is digital, AI-driven, and has data in the cloud. Punit Bhatia is the author of four privacy books including the books “Be Ready for GDPR” and “AI & Privacy”. Punit is a global speaker who has spoken at over 40 global events and is a host /creator of the FIT4PRIVACY Podcast which has been ranked amongst the top GDPR podcasts in 2020, 2021, and 2022.. Punit is the founder and CEO of FIT4PRIVACY, a tradename of Ek Advisory BV. Punit is a board member of the ISACA Belgium chapter and DPO Circle. Previously, he served as a board member at World Game Changers.
Dr. Ann Cavoukian – Keynote Speaker
Ann Cavoukian is recognized as one of the world’s leading privacy experts. She is presently the Distinguished Expert-in-Residence, leading the Privacy by Design Centre of Excellence at Ryerson University. Dr. Cavoukian is also a Senior Fellow of the Ted Rogers Leadership Centre at Ryerson University, and a Faculty Fellow of the Center for Law, Science & Innovation at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Dr. Cavoukian served an unprecedented three terms as the Information & Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, Canada.
Nicola Fabiano – Panelist for the Emerging Technology track
Nicola is an Italian lawyer, Adjunct Professor at Ostrava University (Rome), and Independent Researcher. Former President of the San Marino Data Protection Authority. Former national expert for the Republic of San Marino on the Committees of the Council of Europe. He has been the Government of the Republic of San Marino’s advisor for drafting legislation on personal data protection. Nicola Fabiano created the Data Protection and Privacy Relationships Model (DAPPREMO), which is based on high mathematics and set theory.
Nathalie Claes – Panelist for Privacy & Security
Nathalie is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in information security and GDPR compliance. She has served as an Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer (DPO), successfully guiding multiple organizations through ISO 27001 certification and GDPR implementation. Her work includes developing GDPR policies, providing strategic advice, and ensuring compliance across IT, broadcasting, and software sectors.
Ulrika Dellrud – Panelist for the Privacy & Security track
Ulrika is a global chief privacy officer focusing on emerging data protection, AI, tech, digital ethics, open data and banking, FinTech. Chief privacy and data ethics officer of Smarter Contracts. Long-time leading member of the IAPP, with a number of advisory board roles. Board member and certification director of ISACA Belgium. Frequent speaker on various data topics. Recognized thought leader in privacy in Europe and globally. Mentor and coach younger privacy professionals.
Gokhan Polat – Panelist for the Emerging Technology track
Gokhan led cybersecurity assessments and provided data privacy advisory at EY Turkey Risk Advisory. He has held leadership roles at SabancıDx, Paribu Blockchain Technology, and Averest. He is the co-founder of DataBulls and a blogger for CoinDesk Türkiye. As an APMG-accredited trainer, he delivers ISACA training and seminars for IIA Turkey on cybersecurity audit fundamentals and AI technology risk management. His primary interests include digital assets and blockchain technology risk management.
