Speakers:

Ramsés Gallego: With a background education in Business Administration (MBA) and Law, Ramsés is a +25 years security professional with deep expertise in the Risk Management and Governance areas. Ramsés is now International Chief Technology Officer for OpenText Cybersecurity, where he defines the vision and mission, purpose and promise of the company in that arena. He also ensures the proper execution of the department. He has previously been Strategist & Evangelist at the Office of the CTO in Symantec. Before, he was at Dell Security and CA Technologies for 5 and 8 years respectively, he was Regional Manager for SurfControl in Spain and Portugal, and also Chief Strategy Officer of the Security and Risk Management practice at Entelgy. Ramsés served for three years in ISACA’s CISM and CGEIT Certification Committees and also in the the Guidance & Practices Committee for three years from where deliverables are created for the community. He is honored to have been the Chair for ISACA’s ISRM Conference and part of the Program Committee for the events SecureCloud 2010 and 2012. He is now Immediate Past President at the ISACA Barcelona Chapter and played an instrumental role in the Planning Committee that prepared first-ever ISACA’s World Congress in Washington, June 2011. He has also been part of the ISACA’s CISM PATF Task Force. Ramsés believes that a revolution (rather than an evolution) is needed when considering the move from technology to enterprise risk and that the cloud dimension offers incredible opportunities for businesses today. Ramsés thinks that Governance is essential to facilitate innovation in this changing business environment and holds many certifications that combine different knowledge areas and broaden his vision on technology within the marketplace. Ramsés is a CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of the Enterprise IT) and a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional). He is the proud owner of the SCPM (Stanford Certified Project Manager) from Stanford University, California, one of the first experts with the CCSK (Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge) and also an ITIL and COBIT Foundations certified professional. He develops results-oriented, business-focused, people-driven projects due to his Six Sigma Black Belt accreditation. An internationally recognized public speaker, has visited +25 different countries in the past 12 months and has been awarded ‘Best Speaker’ many times. He received the John Kuyers Award for Best Speaker/Conference Contributor in June 2013. He has been named ‘Privacy by Design Ambassador’ by the Government of Ontario, Canada and is proud of being Past International VP for ISACA’s Board of Directors. He teaches in different universities on Digital Transformation, Change and is visiting professor in the Master of Cybersecurity for IE Business School. Ramsés is also Executive Vice President of the Quantum World Association and he feels honored of having had the US flag flown on his honor in The Capitol on November the 1st, 2013. Nominated to be inducted in the ISACA Hall of Fame in 2024, he lives in Barcelona, Spain, with his wonderful wife and his two loved kids.

Pablo Ballarin: Pablo is an independent cybersecurity consultant who assists companies across various industries in defining and implementing their cybersecurity strategies to establish trust. Frequently, trust also necessitates managing risks associated with emerging technologies, such as lack of transparency, loss of human autonomy, bias, and safety. Therefore, his advisory services encompass responsible AI as well.

Pablo is the founder of Balusian, a professor, speaker, member of the scientific council of the IAEAI (Israel Association of Ethics in Artificial Intelligence), board member of ISACA Valencia, member of the ISACA Emerging Trends Working Group, and coordinator of the Centre for Industrial Cybersecurity (CCI) in Spain.

Pablo holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree, a MsC in Artificial Intelligence and he is currently finishing a MsC in Philosophy for Contemporary Challenges. He is holds the following professional certifications: CISM, CISA, CRISC, CDPSE, CSX-F, CISSP, CEET, CEHv9, ISO 27001 LA, OGAF, TISO 20000-1, ITILv3.

The Cyber Security Coalition is joining forces with SecAppDev.org to offer an interesting full day program on application security, geared mainly towards application developers, architects and security professionals.

Olivier Caleff

Olivier Caleff is currently in charge of Cyber Resilience, Cyber Crisis and Cyber Training at ERIUM, a cyber security company providing healthcare solutions in more than 170 countries. Prior to ERIUM, he worked for SANOFI as Cyber Resilience Officer, and ANSSI’s CERT-FR –French governmental and national CSIRT/CERT – where he managed international relationships, liaising with partners, other CSIRTs and institutional bodies. He is currently a member of both CSIRTs’ Associations (Board of Directors at FIRST, TF-CSIRT Associate, InterCERT France Liaison), and CISOs’ Associations such as CESIN and CIX-A in France, and ECSO in Europe. He also contributed to various publications, including ENISA documents related to CSIRT maturity, Cloud security and forensics, and security training. He has been delivering various TRANSITS and FIRST security training since 2014, and is an advocate of OpenCSIRT’s SIM3, being both a Certified SIM3 Auditor and a SIM3 Trainer. For almost 30 years, he has been teaching network and security domains at engineering schools, universities, and Master of Sciences in French and English.

Her research has been published in several academic journals and she collaborates with research organisations all over the world. Siska is working as a Cyber Strategy consultant at NVISO, where she assists medium-sized organizations to increase their security maturity by defining a strategic direction and implementing action plans. She acts as the CISO for these organizations. For global organizations, Siska assists in the definition, execution, and coordination of their information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance projects. ​​
​​Before joining NVISO, Siska worked as Senior Consultant  at Sopra Steria Benelux consulting for a European Agency on projects involving security risk assessment,  security plans, business continuity, and disaster recovery projects. She was also deputy security officer for a major European project.   Before Sopra Steria,  she worked 6 months at BNP Parisbas Fortis as third party risk assessor and nearly 13 years  in managed security services at Verizon Enterprise Solutions.​

Kurt Callewaert, Valorisation Manager Digital Transformation, Member the Belgian Cyber Security Coalition vzw Kurt Callewaert is Valorisation Manager Digital Transformation at Howest University of Applied Sciences collaborating with research groups specializing in AI, AR/VR , Web3 (Blockchain , Solid) , Game Technology and Cybersecurity. Kurt is a member of the Flemish Cybersecurity Steering Group Training & Outreach and the Belgian Cyber Coalition vzw .

Kurt has been active in cybersecurity for more than 12 years as lecturer, researcher and momently project leader of the Living Lab Innovative Cyber Security in Industry and Logistics 4.0 . Livia De Picker, Assistant professor of clinical immunopsychiatry at University Psychiatric Hospital Duffel

Dr. Livia De Picker graduated with a summa cum laude medical degree from the University of Antwerp in 2012. As a clinical psychiatrist and postdoctoral researcher at the University Psychiatric Hospital Duffel (Belgium), her current work seamlessly integrates research, clinical care, and health care policy, focusing on translational strategies for evidence-based policy implementation.

Beyond her clinical and research roles, Dr. De Picker has been actively engaged at the international level, contributing as a board member and director for several prominent scientific organizations. This multifaceted involvement has established her as a noteworthy early career clinician-scientist, advocating for advancements in neuroscience across Belgium and Europe. Dr. De Picker’s influence extends beyond traditional academic settings, as she is a sought-after public speaker. Her recent TEDx presentation on “salience” brilliantly explores the intersection of neuroscience and technology, offering unique insights into this compelling nexus.

Annette Homann Violinist, Composer and Violist

Annette Homann is a violinist, violist and composer. Born in Hanover, Germany, she stands out for being incredibly versatile in terms of musical styles. Her way of playing has been described as “sparkling, energetic, confident and joyful” (Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung).

She started playing at the age of 6. After graduating from highschool she decided to become a professional violinist and started her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hanover and finished her Teaching Diploma at the Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz in 2004 where she studied with Professor Christoph Schickedanz. In 2005 she moved to New York City to study at Manhattan School of Music with Laurie Smukler. She received her Master of Music in violin performance in 2006.

2008-2011 she went on a world tour with the fiddle show Barrage playing about 200 shows a year. After she continued being an active freelance musician in NYC playing with various groups and solo at venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

In 2016 she moved back to Europe. She has been continuing as a freelance musician performing solo shows and tours including playing with Michael Bublé, Howard Carpendale, Soloist for Alex Christensen and the Berlin Orchestra, Senna Gammour, Marc Secara and Orchestra, subbing in the musical HAMILTON as well as performing with her Irish duo HomeWard.

In 2020 Mrs. Homann published the album “Violin Sentiments”, an album of original compositions for solo- and duo violin/viola. The style can be described as classical crossover. Mrs. Homann is also a dedicated instructor.  She currently resides in both Berlin and Brussels with her family.  www.annettehomann.com
