Data Protection Day is an international event that occurs every year on the 28th of January. The purpose of Data Protection Day is to raise awareness and promote best practices aiming at creating a world in which the privacy of all citizens is better protected.
Within the ISACA Belgium chapter, protecting the privacy and security of date has always been a top concern. We contribute positively by providing best-practice frameworks, training and many other initiatives. In this regard, ISACA has just released the newest version of our Privacy in Practice 2023 survey. This global ISACA research shares new findings related to the privacy workforce, privacy skills, privacy by design and the future of privacy. The report sheds lights on the skills gap of privacy teams, including their legal and technical skills, among other things. For example, the report finds that more than half of privacy teams say they are understaffed concerning these skills, and nearly 7 in 10 say the skills gap will even increase in the next year.
If you want to know more, download a free copy of the report here or stay tuned and join our next Privacy event the 16th of March – jointly organized with Beltug – where we will discuss the main findings of this report (follow our LinkedIn posts if you want to join the event).
